1. Introduction

TastEzy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use the Tastezy mobile application and website (www.tastezy.in). This policy is designed to comply with the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023, and Google Play’s Developer Policies.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide our food-delivery services:

1. Personal Information: Name, mobile number, email address, and delivery address.
2. Location Data: We collect precise location data to enable order delivery and track delivery progress.
3. Transaction Information: Details of orders you place. Payment processing is handled by third-party encrypted gateways; we do not store full credit/debit card details.
4. Technical Data: Device ID, IP address (for security and fraud prevention), and app performance logs.

3. Purpose of Collection & Usage

Your data is used solely for:

1. Service Fulfillment: Sharing your contact/address with Vendors and Delivery Partners for order completion.
2. Communication: Sending OTPs, order status, and customer support via SMS or WhatsApp.
3. Security: Detecting fraudulent accounts and preventing unauthorized access.

4. Data Sharing & Localization

1. Third-Party Sharing: We share your address and phone number with registered Vendors on our platform and third-party delivery services to fulfill your requests.
2. Data Residency: In compliance with Indian law, all personal data is stored on secure servers located within India.

5. Data Safety & Encryption

1. Encryption in Transit: All data sent between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer).
2. Access Control: Only authorized personnel can access user data for support and fulfillment purposes.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion (Mandatory)

As per the DPDP Act 2023 and Google Play requirements, you have the following rights:

1. Access & Correction: You can view and edit your profile in the App settings.
2. Consent Withdrawal: You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
3. Data Erasure (Account Deletion): You can permanently delete your account and all associated data.
4. In-App Path: Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
5. Web Request Path: https://www.tastezy.in/business-page/delete-account (Use this link to request deletion even if the app is uninstalled).
6. Note: Upon a valid request, we delete all personal data within 30 days, except what is required for tax or legal compliance.

7. Children's Privacy

Tastezy is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
