Tastezy Refund Policy

At Tastezy, we proudly partner with local women micro-entrepreneurs, home chefs, and small-batch kitchens. Because our platform exclusively features fresh, artisanal, and perishable food products, our refund policy is strictly structured to protect both our customers and our independent creators.
1. The "Subjective Taste" Rule (No Refunds)
Food is inherently subjective, and regional preparation styles vary naturally.
- Personal Preferences: We do not issue refunds, returns, or replacements if a customer simply dislikes the taste, texture, aroma, or spice level of a product.
- Artisanal Variance: Handcrafted, small-batch products do not have industrial, machine-made uniformity. Minor variations between batches are natural and do not qualify for a refund.
2. When a Refund is Applicable
Refunds or replacements are authorized by the independent vendor only and explicitly under the following verified circumstances:
- Objective Spoilage: The food product arrives visibly spoiled, decayed, moldy, or unfit for consumption at the exact time of delivery.
- Transit Damage: The product packaging was severely breached, cracked, or shattered during delivery, causing the food to be contaminated or entirely spilled.
- Incorrect Item: The vendor mistakenly dispatched a completely different item from what was ordered.
3. Strict Reporting Window & Evidence Required
Because food items are highly perishable, claims must be made immediately. Any request submitted outside these windows will be automatically declined.
- Reporting Timelines:
- Perishable Items (Fresh Curd, Junnu, Fresh Sweets): Must be reported within 3 hours of delivery.
- Semi-Perishable Items (Pickles, Podulu, Dried Snacks, Oils): Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- Mandatory Proof: To initiate a review, you must email
official@tastezy.in or use our in-app support to submit high-resolution photos or a brief unboxing video clearly demonstrating objective spoilage or structural package damage.
Please Note: The independent vendor holds absolute responsibility for evaluating the submitted proof. Once vendor error or objective spoilage is verified, the refund will be immediately authorized.
4. Refund Processing & Banking Timelines
- Original Payment Source: Approved refunds are credited exclusively back to the original payment method used during checkout (UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking). We do not offer manual cash payouts.
- Processing Window: While Tastezy initiates approved refunds instantly on our system, it typically takes 5 to 7 business days for financial institutions and gateway partners to reflect the balance in your account.
