Welcome to Tastezy ("Platform"). This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Customer", or "You") and Tastezy ("We", "Us", or "Our"). By accessing our website, mobile applications, or utilizing any of our services, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them thoroughly before registering, browsing, or placing an order.

1. Role of Tastezy (Platform Intermediary Disclaimer)

Tastezy is strictly an online marketplace and technology provider that bridges the gap between independent third-party vendors and customers.

1. Intermediary Platform Only: Tastezy operates solely as a digital facilitator to enable local transactions. We do not manufacture, prepare, package, store, handle, or sell any of the food items, ingredients, or dairy products listed on the platform.
2. No Contractual Party: Tastezy is not a party to any transaction, agreement, or dispute entered into between a customer and a vendor. A contract for sale is strictly a bipartite agreement between the buyer and the seller.

2. Absolute Vendor Responsibility (A-Z Compliance)

The independent vendor who lists, prepares, and dispatches the product is completely and solely responsible for everything related to that product from A to Z.

1. Vendor Obligations: The vendor is entirely liable for food safety, hygiene standards, culinary preparation, ingredient accuracy, freshness, exact weight, clean packaging, and structural compliance with local food safety guidelines (such as FSSAI registrations).
2. No Platform Warranty: Tastezy does not verify, guarantee, test, or warrant the preparation methods, kitchen conditions, or quality of any ingredients used by individual vendors.

3. Support for Women & Small Entrepreneurs

Tastezy is built on a foundational mission to empower, digitalize, and uplift women home-chefs, neighborhood small-scale entrepreneurs, and local cottage industries.

1. Community Respect Policy: Our platform fosters a community of mutual support and respect. Customers are strictly urged to understand the unique nature of small-batch, handcrafted, artisanal cooking.
2. Protection from Defamation: Customers must refrain from unfairly blaming, harassing, or publicly defaming these small-scale creators over minor natural aesthetic differences or personal flavor preferences.

4. Subjective Taste & Spoilage Policy (Returns & Refunds)

Food preparation is an art form, and taste is inherently subjective. By placing an order on Tastezy, you explicitly acknowledge and accept our strict satisfaction policy:

1. Taste Variations: Taste, spice levels, texture, color, and aroma vary naturally from person to person, kitchen to kitchen, and batch to batch. Tastezy and its vendors do not guarantee that a product will match a customer's individual, subjective expectation of flavor. Returns, replacements, or refunds will never be entertained based on subjective dislike of taste.
2. Objective Spoilage Exception: A vendor will accept a return or replacement request only and explicitly if the product is objectively spoiled, decayed, sour/fermented (when unexpected), or physically damaged upon delivery.
3. Proof Requirement: To file a valid dispute for spoiled items, the customer must notify support within the designated time frame from delivery, providing clear, unedited photographic or video evidence of objective spoilage. The final decision regarding objective spoilage rests entirely with the platform and vendor review assessment.

5. User Accounts, Eligibility, and Security

1. Eligibility: To register an account or purchase products on Tastezy, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding legal contracts under applicable local laws.
2. Account Integrity: You are entirely responsible for protecting your account credentials (username and password). Any activity, order placement, or communication occurring under your account is your sole legal responsibility.
3. Data Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and true information during registration and checkout. Tastezy reserves the absolute right to suspend or terminate accounts containing falsified information.

6. Pricing, Payments, and Taxes

1. Vendor Price Discretion: All prices for listed products are determined independently by the respective vendors. Prices may fluctuate without notice based on market demand, sourcing difficulty, or the availability of seasonal ingredients (e.g., seasonal green mangoes for Avakaya).
2. Secure Payment Processing: Tastezy utilizes authorized, secure third-party payment gateways to process financial transactions. Tastezy does not store your full debit/credit card details or net banking credentials. We are not liable for payment failures, processing errors, or unauthorized transactions managed by third-party financial servers.
3. Taxes and Handling Fees: All applicable regional taxes (such as GST where applicable to the vendor) and platform packaging, handling, or delivery fees will be explicitly detailed at checkout before payment confirmation.

7. Delivery, Logistics, and Perishable Handling

1. Customer Responsibility: Customers must provide a highly accurate delivery address, reachable contact number, and necessary landmarks. Neither Tastezy nor its logistics partners will be held liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect information or unresponsive customers.
2. Perishable Items: Because our platform features highly fresh, short shelf-life local dairy essentials (such as fresh curd, Junnu, or white butter) and regional treats, immediate receipt of delivery is mandatory. If a delivery fails because the customer is unavailable, the order will be marked as fully completed, and no refunds or re-delivery attempts will be facilitated.
3. Force Majeure Delays: Delivery timelines are structural estimates. Delays caused by extreme weather conditions, traffic congestions, political disruptions, gridlocks, or unpredictable logistical acts of god do not entitle the user to spontaneous cancellations, monetary compensation, or refunds.

8. Order Cancellation Policy

1. Customer Cancellations: Because foods are frequently prepared fresh, made-to-order, or involve short-lived ingredients, cancellations by customers are strictly prohibited once a vendor has accepted the order or commenced kitchen preparation.
2. Platform/Vendor Cancellations: Tastezy and its vendors reserve the absolute right to cancel any order if a product is unexpectedly out of stock, if the delivery location falls outside serving zones, or if logistics fail. In such an event, a full refund will be automated back to your original payment source within standard banking timelines.

9. User Conduct and Review Guidelines

1. Review Integrity: While we encourage authentic community feedback, users agree not to post public reviews, ratings, or comments that contain abusive, foul, vulgar, defamatory, or politically malicious language.
2. Review Moderation: Tastezy reserves the absolute right to immediately hide, remove, or moderate any public review determined to be systematically malicious, extortionate, or designed to intentionally harm a small entrepreneur's livelihood without valid, objective proof of product defect.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

1. Platform Assets: All content displayed on Tastezy—including website architectures, mobile applications, logos, graphics, icons, brand names, UI/UX designs, data arrangements, and text—is the exclusive intellectual property of Tastezy.
2. Restrictions: Users are strictly forbidden from scraping, copying, replicating, reproducing, modifying, or redistributing platform assets, system codes, or vendor product imagery without express written authorization from Tastezy management.

11. Absolute Legal Immunity & Indemnification

Because Tastezy acts exclusively as a technology hosting platform and marketplace intermediary:

1. Exclusion from Legal Involvement: Tastezy, its founders, directors, and employees will not be involved in, named in, or held liable under any legal proceedings, lawsuits, consumer court cases, police complaints, or disputes arising between a customer and a vendor.
2. Zero Liability: Tastezy is not responsible for anything relating to product defects, food-borne illnesses, health complications, financial losses, or breaches of transaction promises.
3. Indemnification: By using this platform, both customers and vendors explicitly agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tastezy from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or legal fees resulting from product quality disputes or transaction failures. Any and all legal recourse must be directed solely, exclusively, and directly to the independent vendor responsible for the product.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. Applicable Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed strictly in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
2. Exclusive Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes, claims, or statutory interpretations arising out of or in connection with these Terms, platform usage, or transactional issues shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
